原料內容
主料為丹皮、加減為山奈、白豆蔻、椨皮汁液黏著。

香品知識
源起牡丹的意象，透過焚香的氤氳自然，帶來無病息災、繁榮昌盛的期許。

主要取材自牡丹的根皮入香，是芍藥屬，學名「Paeonia」，藥用名為「丹皮」，是一味清熱涼血的香方，自古用於宜禮佛、薰香、淨化、靜坐、祭祀等等，可謂古人解毒養心的日用香。
再者取材自「山奈」或「白豆蔻」，以為加減方，訴求脾胃等等康健順暢，達於實用的清淨除臭。

事實上、牡丹為根皮入香；「牡丹皮為毛茛科植物牡丹的根皮」。選擇生長三到五年的牡丹，於秋季或春季採挖，洗淨泥土，除去鬚根和莖苗，剖取根皮，曬乾即可入藥，這種稱為「原丹皮」，刮去外皮後再曬乾的稱為「刮丹皮」。訴求牡丹為根皮入香調和，也有抒壓助眠之用，其藥用名稱叫丹皮，是一味清熱涼血香方。

總體上、白牡丹香，其味微苦澀，稍有麻舌感受。由於牡丹皮有特殊氣味，亦具有驅蟲作用，可和其他藥材一起貯存而達防蟲效果，用於除臭等等，值得日用無礙，故作此香。
